Coal is main fuel for acquisition of energy at Power, Thermal, Ferrous and Non-Ferrous plants in Kazakhstan. Usually coal is not combusted, i.e. CO2 which is dispersed to the athmosphere and polluting it.
Arcon Industries Kazakhstan offers equipment for optimization of boiler operation. Starting from gravimetric scales to CO2 analyzer in ash are stipulated in the below slide.
There are economical advantages from equipment operations. Optimized coal combustion creates ash meeting the standards of ash applied in production of cement and construction materials.
Main foundation of equipment operation is Physics Law (turbulent, whirling flows, acoustics) which are valid.

Ecology and financial benefit example: Power Plant in Longannate Scottish Power, UK in 2005/6.
- CO2 content in ash decreased from 9,5% (+/-26%) till 6,5% (+/-13%) after installation of choke tube VARB at Power Unit # 1.
- Mechanical non-combustion decreased by 33% in average data and twice against single data.
- As per calculations the whole power plant increased efficiency and saves up to £ 225 000 per year.
- Savings by power unit # 1 is 45 – 48 tons of coal per day which is ~ approx.£ 2,325 per day (£ 814 000 per year).
